Dr. Hauschka MED Saltwater Sensitive Toothpaste was developed in cooperation with experienced dentists and provides gentle cleansing for sensitive teeth, also in the case of periodontitis. In detail, what this dental care product does is gently remove plaque and prevent bleeding of the gums. Both peppermint and menthol are deliberately avoided, to prevent the cooling effect that irritates sensitive teeth, following homeopathic recommendations. Additionally, fluorides and surfactants are also excluded from this formulation. In fact, Dr. Hauschka MED Saltwater Sensitive Toothpaste combines mineral saltwater from the spa town of Bad Dürrenberg, sea salt obtained by natural, traditional extraction, and plant extracts with natural cleansing agents.
