Spice Blend Bengali Five
This mix of herbs is an explosion of flavour known as Panch Phoron. Panch means “five” and phoron is “flavour” or “spice”. Panch phoron is a colourful, earthy and spicey blend of the flavourful seeds: nigella, black mustard, fenugreek, fennel & cumin.
Fry in oil or ghee to bring out the flavour in stews, soups or casseroles.
