Quick Cook Oats are made from oat kernels that have been chopped and rolled to create fine-textured, fast-cooking oat flakes – they take just five minutes to turn into a hot and tasty porridge! Oats are by their nature high in fibre and sodium-free.
Serving and Usage suggestions: Ideal cooked as porridge or used in muesli. It can also be added to smoothies or used as a thickener in cooking. Provides a fine texture for baked goods.
To cook as porridge: Bring 1 cup oats and 2 cups water to the boil with a pinch of salt and allow to simmer for 5 minutes. Serve with milk, cinnamon and chopped fruit and nuts.
