Jojoba Carrier Oil

Jojoba oil is a wonderful base and carrier oil. It’s a nourishing oil that promotes softer, healthier hair and skin. It is suitable for all skin types and is easily absorbed. Whether your skin is dry, oily or sensitive jojoba oil will leave it soft and smooth.

•  Jojoba is very effective as a night cream and if you suffer from dry skin, it adds a little sheen and lustre as a day moisturiser as well. Simply smooth a few drops over the face and neck.
• Try a few drops to soothe a pimple break out or acne
• It makes the perfect body moisturiser after your bath and a little goes a long way, but as it is costly, you may wish to mix it with other oils such as olive oil to make it go further
• Jojoba oil can be used to remove make-up, and is even gentle enough to use for removing eye make-up as well. Just gently wipe the face after applying a few drops of jojoba oil to cotton balls
• Apply to dry lips as you would with regular lip balm – helps smooth aging fine lines around the mouth
• Rub a few drops into your cuticles and hands for the perfect hand treatment
• Rub a few drops into the ends of your hair after shampooing, it’s a quick conditioner and tames those frizzy bits. Rub 3-4 drops into your hair before swimming or a day at the beach to protect your hair
• Hot Jojoba Oil Hair Treatment – Rub about 1 teaspoon of warmed oil through your hair when you first get into the shower. Let it stay on your hair while you shower and only rinse it off at the end of your shower; then shampoo and condition as usual.
• Applying Jojoba oil to your skin before shaving, helps to avoid shaving rash and leaves your skin soft and smooth

Neem Carrier Oil

A wonderful oil with numerous benefits, Neem oil contains extraordinarily high levels of antioxidants that help to protect the skin from environmental damage. Cold pressed from whole Neem tree nuts, this oil can be used in ‘make your own’ skin care preparations, hair care products, and in gardens for natural pest control.

• Neem is not a pleasant smelling oil. To improve the smell, try adding a few drops of your favourite essential oil, but choose ones that will suit the application.

Safe for pets?:

Neem Oil is highly recommended for use on dogs, but not on cats. You can find Neem oil in many dog shampoos and other dog products. Neem is non-toxic and a very effective natural repellent for biting mosquitoes and fleas as well as being good for your dog’s skin. You can use it as a skin soothing oil as a natural alternative to chemical flea products. Please consult your vet if you are not sure about applying any essential oil to your pet.

Rosehip Carrier Oil

Escentia Rosehip Seed oil is cold pressed and amazingly pure. Produced here in South Africa, its colour can vary from a golden orange to a very deep red depending on the season. It is one of a very few oils that contains vitamins A, C and E, in a totally natural form. This is a superb product that amongst its many benefits, can reduce the signs of premature ageing.
