Sandalwood Essential Oil Escentia Sandalwood essential oil (Amyris balsamifera), also known as West Indian Sandalwood, is a cheaper alternative to other Sandalwoods (i.e. Santalum album). Even so, this oil is fantastic! Its popular and enduring woody/musty aroma makes it one of the most highly recommended oils in for use in aromatherapy.
